A Gossip Newsletter

There's a new type of newsletter that's circulating around Shedville, and it's quite a bit different than what we're all used to. Check it out.

My Christmas Haul

Image
I know it's a little late to post this, but I wanted to show off my Christmas haul. The most exciting gift I got was my new Our Generation dollhouse that Hubby was nice enough to re-paint for me. As soon as I saw it, it made me think of the 1978 Barbie Dreamhouse that I had wanted as a kid. But I've already started a YouTube video about that house, and it's not finished yet so I didn't include it in this post. So the question is, what else did I get? How adorable is this little owl ornament from Dollar Tree? Of course I had to have it for my Hogwarts students. Her name is Flower. I also found these little Monster High and Barbie dolls that I just had to have! So far I've only put the Barbie ones away, but I'll probably put the Monster High ones in Ember's room in the spring (when it's warmer out). Lastly, these outfits FINALLY went on sale. I feel like I had to wait forever for the Hufflepuff stuff to go on sale. When they finally did, I snagged them up...

The Hogwarts Yearbook

If you prefer watching the yearbook as a video, check it out on YouTube . The video does go a bit fast, so I'm going to post the pictures here to make them easier to read. Enjoy. And if you check it out on YouTube, be sure to like and subscribe.

Better Late than Never

Image
How could I have forgotten this, or not posted this already? I made a HUGE Newsletter for Christmas and have had it finished forever, but somehow it didn't end up getting posted. I thought it had been, only to look and see I haven't made a post (that posted) since Thanksgiving. So without further ado: The Christmas Edition of The Shedville Times

new stop motion

Image
Did you see my Instagram post? Go check it out @anamericangirlmom. It's been a while since I've done a stop motion and I forgot how much I enjoy it. Truth be told, I've just been really busy with other projects. First there was Thanksgiving. That's the time of year I pack up the dolls for winter. Then there's Christmas. A time in which EVERYONE is busy. The New Year, for me, means taxes. As an accountant for my husband's business, Jan thru March means I'm behind the computer screen and not doing anything fun. So this little project was a nice break from all that. Enjoy!
