Happy Birthday James!

 

You may have recently seen that my son got his drivers license. 

Well now he's turning 18!!

I cannot believe how the time has flown by. I honestly feel like he was just a baby not too so long ago.

James has done so much here in Shedville, I'd like to show some of my favorite photos of him.

I remember when he got his first inhaller.

We've been to a million camps and camping trips together.

And thousands of band performances. Including a trip to Disney World just to see him march down Main Street.

17 other birthdays, tons and tons of gifts, and lots of exciting birthday parties.
 

Driving him EVERYWHERE, including his summer job of helping with soccer.

All of this, and I'm going to miss ever single moment of it. I'll miss going to the school presentations and planning little kids birthday parties.

But I'm so happy that my baby is turning 18.

I am so proud of the man he has become.

So in honor of James' birthday, we decided to take him on a special trip to the Hogwarts Express.

There's a place set up in Hometown that has it's own Hogwarts Express train that you can ride on and get Harry Potter themed snacks on.

While Mom and Dad hang out on the back of the train, James and his little sister enjoy pumpkin pastries and James opens gifts.
