Let's Celebrate America!
Happy 250th Birthday America!
Here in Shedville we know how to throw a party, and this 4th of July will be no different. Shedville has an entire day of fun planned for this once in a lifetime celebration.
Morning:
Make sure you come out and see the parade in the morning hours.
Families are lined up all along Main Street.
It's easy to see who won the best float in the parade contest!
I hope everyone can see.
Shedville proudly supports our Veterans and our police officers.
A special Thank You to the Thunder Girls for organizing this year's parade.
Afternoon:
By lunch time you'll wanna see what specials the food trucks are offering.
Phineas Dunphy was kind enough to try both the tacos and the taco ice cream. His opinion was that the ice cream was a bit strange. You should stop by Nice Creams and give it a try.
Miss Patriot
Miss Patriot's dress was designed by the Shedville Academy's 5th Grade Class.
We would like to thank each and every student that participated.
Miss Smith also gave a speech about voter's rights here in Shedville.
Remember, we have an important election coming up in November for not only the mayoral seat, but also for village council members.
Let Miss Smith help you get registered to vote today.
Some families have come out for the football game. If you love football then come cheer on the Shedville Sharks. They are going against their rivals, the Hometown Lions.
The Shedville Academy School Band did a fantastic job during the halftime show.
Evening:
People are lining up to get just the right spot for the fireworks as the night moves on.
Get your hot dogs now so you don't miss a moment.
And the evening ends with an amazing fireworks display.
Happy Birthday America!
