Pride Month

     Shedville is a warm, welcoming community, and everyone is ready to celebrate Pride Month! Rainbow flags adorn houses up and down main street.

    One of the biggest events in Shedville is the marriage of Ben & William Devendorf. First we have a beautiful ceremony.
















The ceremony wasn't particularly long. Pastor Dr. Grayson Wobbles was proud to bring these two together.

Family was in abundance at this wedding. Both Ben and Will have daughters from previous marriages. Their daughters, Julie and Akela, were both Jr. Bridesmaids at the wedding.
Other family members were also in attendance.
Ben's brother, Remi, was his Best Man, and Remi's wife, Journey, was one of the Bridesmaids (we called them Groomsmaids).

Will's mom, Sofia, was there from the Shady Spruce Retirement Home.

Ben's parents, Elouise and Harvey, were both able to attend.

Ben's sisters, Elowyn & Jocelyn, were also Groomsmaids.

After the ceremony there was a small cocktail hour for the adults.






Since Ben owns his own candy store, Sugar Rush, and Will owns his own bakery, Devendorf's Bakery, there was a Sweets Table. It featured rainbow candies and various cookies. Everyone could help themselves to some tasty treats.




After the cocktail hour, the reception cite was ready.

Wedding Planner, Melony Rodgers, made sure that every detail ran smoothly.


The food was in great abundance! There was everything from fruit to tofu steaks.



Everyone was able to fill their plates and even come back for seconds.





The cake was made by one of the grooms himself. But the flavors were agreed on by both Grooms.


Everyone signed the guestbook and left little messages for the happy couple.

The pool gets a deck

 I love the Our Generation Beach House. It looks adorable next to the American Girl Swimming Pool. So I decided to put the two things together.  First I put the beach house on a rolling cart so that I could put it sideways and pull it out when I wanted to play with the inside. I started with making a little dressing area in this nook, and then I slid the beach house in next to it. Next I had to map out the pool area. Then I built a deck out of foamboard. I covered it in brown duct tape. Time to see if the pool fits! Now it's time to cover up some of these gaps. The house looks nice, but the area on both sides of it look terrible.   Next, I wanted to put some beautiful bricks on it. And then it was time to put a nice surround around the pool. I really wanted to utilize some of these mini brands plastic pieces so I used them as planters. I also made some other plants to mix around. Shedville Academy 2024

  While on Spring Break, Shedville Academy got a make over. The classrooms got cleaned, they added a music/AV room, and they got an entire new gym where they eat lunch. Here's the tour: Those kids ran out of here so fast for Spring Break that they left behind a huge mess. This locker got tucked behind the AV room. This little area next to the lockers is getting set up for the upcoming Science Fair. Then the AV room goes in front of all this. Students are going to be able to vote for a class president when they return. The Gym/ Cafeteria The school just keeps growing and growing, but to save on space they set the gym up as a Cafeteria. It's a little messy right now, but it's still under constuction. There's still boxes from the schools Toy & Book Donations over Christmas. The bottom shelf is a great place for kids that brought their lunches to store them. But it's gotten a little overloaded with snacks. The basketball hoops also fold up, getting them out of the w
