Pet Day at Hogwarts: Shedville

 All first year students are allowed to have one pet with them here at Hogwarts. Today is Pet Day and there are a number of wonderful pets for students to choose from.

Edgar brought is lizard, Iggy, to the event to see all the animals.

Other students also brought their pets to Pet Day, many of them traveling by the Hogwarts Express.

Grace brought her frog, Kermit.

Bear is never without his pet snake, Nag.

Shi usually leaves her pet cat, Loud Mouth (Mouth for short), in her dorm room due to his obvious nature. But she's excited to take him out to the event today.

Phineas just recently got his new pet. It's a rat that he named Emile because it's so plump. So far, Emile has been an awesome pet and he's even taught it some cute tricks such as bringing him his socks.

At the event, several students have brought pets for sale. 

Haven and Basil had to share booth space.

Haven is selling frogs and toads. She actually owns her own toad named Buster. He's such a great pet that she knew other students would definitely want one.

Basil brought in snakes. He, just like his twin brother, Bear, also has a snake. His snake is named Nagaina.

There are some adorable kittens at the event, and Aayla made sure to find a spot right next to them. Though she brought her owl, Beauty, she definitely spent more time playing with the kittens.

Darby brought in his rats. He's only allowed to keep one at Hogwarts with him so he chose Zen because he is so well behaved.

Now the Hogwarts Pet Day was not without some crazy incidents.

Several of Basil's snakes got loose.

And Darby had a lot of trouble keeping track of his rats.

So now you can see why each student is only allowed one pet.
